Rick Borden Placed as Partner in Frankfurt Kurnit's Privacy & Data Security Group

Rick BordenWhistler Partners is pleased to announce the placement of Rick Borden as a partner in Frankfurt Kurnit's Privacy & Data Security Group. He will be based in the firm's New York office.

Borden "represents FinTech, InsurTech, cloud computing and other tech-forward companies on technology transactions and in regulatory disputes. He has handled high profile investigations before the New York State Department of Financial Services and other agencies." He is  also "a well-known thought leader in data governance, cloud computing, SaaS, and the Internet of Things." 

In a statement released by Frankfurt Kurnit, Daniel Goldberg, Chair of the Privacy & Data Security Group said that “Rick is that rare privacy and data security lawyer who has also served as a Chief Privacy Officer... His ability to understand data flows, operations, information technology and the law will make him an extremely valuable advisor to our clients.”

The placement was led by Sean Burke, Founding Partner of Whistler Partners.
