Linda SimWhistler Partners is pleased to announce the placement of Linda M. Sim as a partner in White & Case's Technology Transactions practice within its Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice. She will be based in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Linda has "deep experience advising on technology transactions involving software and data licensing, systems development and integration, SaaS and cloud-based services, digital media transactions and IT and business outsourcing arrangements. She also advises on data security and privacy related issues, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act."

In a statement released by the firm, Arlene Arin Hahn, Global Head of White & Case's Technology Transactions Group, said that "Linda brings valuable expertise and over two decades of experience in leading complex IP and tech-driven transactions that will add additional depth to our already busy group. We are thrilled to continue to expand our West Coast practice, building on Linda's, and our wider team's, market-leading experience advising across the full spectrum of technology transactions matters."

The placement was led by Josh Bilgrei, Managing Director at Whistler, who stated that he was "honored to have been able to make the match between Linda and White & Case. Linda has extensive experience counseling tech companies, not only at her previous law firms but also in-house. White & Case's continued commitment to technology transactions in California made it an obvious fit for Linda, and Arlene and the rest of the team were a joy to work with, as always."
