Was once called the “Most Interesting Man in New York.”

Jordan Rosenberg spent five years in the HR department of an elite New York law firm. In that capacity he had, by his rough estimate, hundreds of thousands of interactions with outside recruiters, experience that’s given him invaluable insight into everything right and wrong with the placement process. He sees recruiting as the most human of professions, one that will never be replaced by an algorithm even though some developer somewhere is no doubt trying.

As a Queens native, Rosenberg has aspirations of one day living a bicoastal life of New York winters mixed with California palms. As a one-time philosophy grad student, he remains baffled by the fact that while Phish concerts are always sold out, you never actually meet anyone who listens to Phish.

Favorite secret beach:

"Good try, I’ll opt to keep my secret beach a secret."

Movie that was secretly about him:

"Pulp Fiction. Truth be told, it’s actually my soul in the briefcase… It’s deep, it's complicated, and we’ll have to save it for another interview."

Favorite historical moment:

"Woodstock Music & Art Fair. I want my favorite historical moment to be something I would like to have attended. This is very high up on my list. Three Days of Peace & Music."

testimonials about this recruiter:

I wouldn’t be at my current in-house job right now without Jordan’s help with the intermediate steps. I can't recommend him more highly. He’s incredibly well versed in Big Law and is your secret weapon for interview prep — it seems like he knows everybody and he does a great job of helping you frame your move.
