Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing blockchain company as Product Counsel. You will play a pivotal role in advising product and compliance teams on the evolving legal landscape of blockchain and digital assets. If you have a strong background in fintech, blockchain, and digital asset regulation, this role will allow you to shape the future of innovative products in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal and strategic advice to product teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing risk throughout the product lifecycle.
• Counsel internal teams on legal issues related to blockchain, digital assets, and decentralized finance, guiding product development from inception through sunsetting.
• Collaborate closely with compliance teams to uphold regulatory standards across product offerings and third-party integrations.
• Stay current with U.S. and international regulations and ensure all products comply with emerging legal requirements.

About You

• 4-10 years of experience in both law firms and/or in-house legal roles, particularly within fintech, digital assets, or fast-paced tech environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital assets, with a proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable product advice.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance related to crypto, digital wallets, and decentralized finance.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to cross-functional teams.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Digital Asset, Fintech or similar fast-paced environment experience a plus

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with non-custodial wallets, DeFi platforms, and international regulations around digital assets.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as the SEC, CFTC, or international equivalents.
