Job Overview & Key Responsibilities 

Leaving traditional legal practice, you will pivot to the business side continuing to exercise legal analysis and application in a product development context. A non-practicing, non-counsel job, this role leverages your legal training and expertise in a product capacity. You will sit on the product team as a legal engineer. This role is located in the World Trade Center, NYC, in office ~4 days per week.

You will:

• Provide and review nuanced legal analysis of complex and ambiguous regulations.
• Use our proprietary tools to help design their next iteration, to further develop automated analysis of regulations.
• Develop, write, and refine calls to Large Language Models.
• Develop representations of the law that will be used by developers to create automated compliance agents.
• Be a critical participant in client meetings.

About You

• Juris Doctor or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years practicing law (in law firm practice and/or in-house legal/compliance department) in a regulated industry, with a targeted focus on insurance, financial services, or healthcare industry legal/compliance roles.
