Whistler Partners is pleased to announce the placement of Matt McGuire as the first General Counsel of Violet, a DeFi native compliance and identity solution provider.
Matt was previously Senior Advisor, Office of the General Counsel, and led the global regulatory and privacy teams at Shopify. Prior to that he was a counsel at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, and Principal Deputy Solicitor General in the Virginia Attorney General's office.
