This group sits at the center of sponsor-side deals where technology and IP issues drive the value—software licensing, SaaS, data, and commercial agreements tied to private equity and M&A. Hybrid schedule, market comp, and hours far more sustainable than BigLaw.
Work alongside partners who trained at the very top of BigLaw and then built a boutique platform designed for efficiency and deal focus. You’ll negotiate high-value agreements, advise PE sponsors and portfolio companies on tech-heavy transactions, and gain early client contact. For corporate/M&A associates with licensing exposure, this is also a rare chance to re-tool into a growing practice.
3–6 years of tech transactions, licensing, or commercial contracts experience at a leading firm
Corporate/M&A associates with solid licensing exposure will be considered
JD from a nationally recognized law school with strong academic record
Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Strong drafting and negotiation skills; interest in PE sponsor and portfolio company work
