About the Role:

This is a challenging role for a seasoned fintech attorney who sees the legal and regulatory function as a strategic partner to business and product teams. No two days will look the same, as you'll oversee a wide variety of matters including securities, regulatory, commercial contracts and corporate governance.

Responsibilities:

Lead the vision and strategy for growing the legal, regulatory and compliance function. Stay up to date on relevant financial regulatory policies in the US and abroad, and ensure compliance. Draft and negotiate complex agreements in support of the company’s licensing, product development, sales, marketing and partnership activities. Advise product teams on the legal and regulatory implications of new product features. Supervise and support an existing team of dedicated in-house legal and compliance professionals. Manage corporate governance of a growth stage technology company. Manage outside counsel. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and business board

The anticipated base pay range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
