About the Role:
Xterio is looking for a game-changing GC - an extremely commercially minded legal leader with strong corporate and/or regulatory experience (ideally in the world of blockchain or gaming) to lead their legal function through the next stages of their growth.
Responsibilities:
Advise the CEO and the senior leadership on the regulatory, commercial and public law risks to enhance decision-making and delivery
Collaborate with product teams to assist in the development of new games
Keep up with changing regulations in the world of blockchain, crypto, and gaming across multiple jurisdictions.
Lead and partner with outside counsel on all privacy compliance work including GDPR, CCPA and other regulations
Oversee corporate governance matters, including preparing corporate resolutions and meeting materials
Address legal risk in business-centric ways, developing processes to solve problems and strengthen partnerships
