Coming off a string of successes, their CLO has given us the green light to help him build out their legal team (also known as Liberty Legal), with six new legal hires!

About the Role:

As the first Litigation Counsel to join this team, you’ll have a chance to help define and build out this function under the guidance of legal veterans of the blockchain space. You’ll work closely with the leaders of a growing number of portfolio companies, advising them on business disputes and internal inquiries.You’ll also have a key role in overseeing outside counsel handling litigation. This is an incredibly rare opportunity for a litigator to go in-house in the blockchain space.

Responsibilities:

Manage legal efforts in response to contentious inquiries, including managing pre-litigious and regulatory matters encountered by the client Oversee outside counsel in managing assigned litigation matters, including day-to-day running of matters, overall strategy, written work, and oral advocacy Identify potential litigation and regulatory risk and counsel the business to minimize exposure; advise and implement solutions to address issues identified Advise the CLO, Deputy CLO, and business leaders from portfolio companies on various matters concerning litigation.
