About the Role:
Sifchain is looking for a like-minded GC with demonstrated deep blockchain finance experience who knows first hand the diverse needs of a startup that exists in a complex regulatory landscape.
Responsibilities:
Work with the founder as well as product and engineering teams to manage the growth and strategy of the company.
Define and develop internal policies, procedures and programs, providing counsel and guidance on matters that directly impact the entire organization.
Oversee various aspects of the company’s intellectual property protection.
Negotiate commercial transactions on behalf of the company.
Represent the company before national and international regulators as well as at industry events.
Oversee in collaboration with senior management the selection, retention, management and evaluation of all outside counsel.
Advise on legal aspects of the company’s financing structure, including assessing and advising on current and future requirements.
Work with senior leadership as well as colleagues at peer institutions to develop industry frameworks and standards.
