Job Overview

Seeking a business-minded leader for our small cross-border legal team. Perfect for a well-rounded legal advisor with experience within a high-growth startup environment, ready to lead the legal function of a fast-paced global company with >1,000 employees. Reporting to our CFO, you'll lead our legal department and work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, People, and Marketing teams.

You will:

1. Execute legal strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
2. Lead strategic deals and commercial contracts
3. Review products and features for risk mitigation
4. Manage international corporate governance and compliance
5. Advise on regulatory developments related to AI, social media, content moderation, intellectual property, privacy and other areas that impact the business
6. Drive continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability

About You

1. JD with 8+ years combining top firm and relevant in-house experience
2. Strong background in consumer technology
3. Business acumen with strategic mindset
4. Outstanding communication skills and fluency translating legal advice into actionable guidance for business teams
