Whistler Partners is pleased to announce the placement of Kim Nakamaru as General Counsel and a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Hermeus, a venture-backed defense aviation company focused on building high-speed aircraft through rapid, iterative development.
Nakamaru brings over 15 years of experience advising public and private companies, including a decade in aerospace, aviation, and advanced manufacturing. She joins Hermeus from Relativity Space, where she served as General Counsel and a member of the executive team, leading legal, regulatory, risk, employee relations, environmental health and safety, and physical security functions.
Prior to Relativity Space, Nakamaru held senior leadership roles at EagleView and Global Eagle Entertainment (now Anuvu), supporting technology-driven businesses operating in complex regulatory environments.
She joins Hermeus at a pivotal stage as the company advances toward real-world capability, where legal leadership is critical to supporting speed, scale, and execution.
