Cynthia Yang Placed as Deputy General Counsel, Head of Regulatory and Government Affairs at Input Output Global

Whistler Partners is pleased to announce the placement of Cynthia Yang as Deputy General Counsel, Head of Regulatory and Government Affairs at Input Output Global (IOG). Founded in 2015, IOG is one of the world’s pre-eminent blockchain research and engineering companies, best known for the Cardano blockchain platform.

Prior to joining IOG, Yang served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel of GameStop, where she focused on the company’s global digital asset, blockchain, Web3 gaming, and metaverse deals and initiatives. 

Yang brings extensive legal experience to the role, having spent more than 20 years in private practice, including as Partner & Team Lead of the FinTech Industry Practice Group of Duane Morris LLP. Yang has been recognized by the National Law Journal as a 2018 Cryptocurrency, Blockchain and FinTech Trailblazer and by the New York Law Journal as a 2019 New York Trailblazer.

In her new role at IOG, Yang will work with the company’s Chief Legal Officer, Joel Telpner.
